Question by Adore To Discover!: How to stop my IRS wage garnishment ahead of it begins.?
I recieved a letter from Garnishment Services saying that I’m being garnished. The letter says that deductions will start withing the next 1-2 pay periods. Is there a way I can quit this? I cant afford to pay the amounts they are pulling out, and is far better off paying them what they want monthy. Any suggestions is appreciated.

You want to contact them detailing all of your expenditures so that they can means test the amounts that they can take. You would have to show that you would face unnecessary hardship, not that you can’t get designer clothing.
