Tax season can be a excellent time for some and a quite rough time for others!  There are some that get a nice return back and have some extra spending income and there are those that owe the I.R.S. a lot of income and this can be a really stressful time of year for them.  Here are a few tips on what to do if you the I.R.S. a lot of cash:

1)  Continue to be honest in all your dealings!  Honesty is still the best policy and if you owe the I.R.S. a lot of money, cheating a little to reduce that amount will hurt in the lengthy run anyway.  Be extremely accurate in every little thing that you do and in return, you will really locate much less stress because you were honest, even if it turns out that you owe far more funds.  Be honest!

2)  Do not contact a tax attorney!  This may be 1 of the most corrupt attorneys that exist!  They tell you that they can decrease the bill and get you off the hook and following they get your retainers fee, they stop dealing with the I.R.S. because they knew they couldn’t win in the very first place.  There are lawyers that guarantee to decrease the bill and when the time comes, that promise by no means comes through.  There could be some unique circumstances where an attorney requirements to be contacted but let the I.R.S. tell you that!

3)  Contact the I.R.S.!  Contacting them directly will get the correct data that you need!  The I.R.S. will work with you if you function with them.  They want their money and when they feel like you will not pay them, they are like anybody else.  They will come soon after you just like if you owed somebody funds and didn’t pay.  They are not wrong for coming right after you if you refuse to pay but you are wrong for not paying.  Contact the I.R.S. and set up a payment program!  Tell them what you can afford and ask them to permit you to pay what you can!

The I.R.S. is stereotyped by men and women as a crooked organization and they do have their flaws, but think if somebody owed you income, what would you do?
